How long is a Kambo ceremony?
Kambo sessions are between 2-3 hours, however, the intensity of Kambo is typically over within 20-40 minutes. Before Kambo is safely administered and the ceremony begins, we will finalize the position and number of points you wish to have based on your personal needs. In order to minimize risk, first time users will be safely tested for strong or extreme reactions before all of the Kambo is applied.
Is Kambo a Toxin?
There are many peptides that have been identified in Kambo. None of them have been identified as toxic to the mammalian cells. However, they are potently toxic to bacteria, fungi, parasites, and viruses, making Kambo a great extensive antibiotic. There is nonknown toxicity to the liver, kidneys, or brain.

Full disclosure, Kambo is legal in the US, as well as all other countries. It is important to note that Kambo is not hallucinogenic. Additionally, I am not a doctor. I neither give medical advice, make diagnoses, cure any disease, nor treat any physical or mental disorders.

-
Abstain from alcohol or recreational drugs for 24-48 hours prior to and after Kambo treatment.

Do not eat or drink water 12 hours before the ceremony. Under my guidance, you will drink 2 liters of water in 15 minutes before Kambo is administered.
-
Do not do any long-term water or dry fasting 7 days before or after Kambo treatment.
-
No caffeine the day of Kambo, 24-48 hours prior.
-
Avoid taking all pharmaceutical medications or supplements until after the session or the day of the ceremony. They can be taken a few hours after.
-
No sweat lodges, hot tubs, saunas, or hot yoga 3 days before and after Kambo treatments because they can disrupt your electrolyte balance, which can pose a severe risk to your health.
-
Abstain from colonics, enema, liver flushes, or any water based detox 3 days before and after Kambo treatments.
-
Women who are menstruating - Kambo is a vasodilator, and may cause increased flow for 24-36 hours. You may also get your period sooner than usual.

A yoga mat or a cushion (something comfortable to lie on)
-
Wear comfortable clothes:

Be mindful where you want your points placed on your body ahead of time.

An extra set of clothes, in case of an accident

WHAT DO I DO POST-KAMBO CEREMONY?
-
STRONGLY RECOMMEND that you spend the rest of the day/evening relaxed to reflect and connect with the spirit of Kambo.
-
After a good night’s rest, you will usually start to feel the real benefits of Kambo.
-
BE KIND and LOVE yourself. Emotions from the present or past may surface. They will need to be worked through in order to be released.
-
BE PATIENT with yourself and your journey.
-
DO NOT operate heavy machinery, move furniture, or engage in any physically stressful situations within 24 hours of session.
-
HAVE A SUPPORTIVE TEAM. Have friends, loved ones, coaches, and counselors support, hear, and affirm you in your integration.
-
TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF. SURROUND yourself with POSITIVITY and HIGH VIBRATIONAL ENERGY. Surround yourself in nature, journal, take walks, community, meditate, etc.
-
BE CONSCIOUS with your consumption of media, energies, people, etc.
-
PRIORITIZE YOUR HEALTH. Eat as clean as possible. Do not consume fried, greasy, or processed food, and limit your salt and sugar intake.
WHAT IS THE POST-TREATMENT BURN POINT CARE?
-
After Kambo is removed, the gates will be closed using Dragon’s Blood, a medicinal antibacterial/fungal tree sap from the Upper Amazon. It is applied to the gates to heal faster, prevent any bacteria or infection, and close the gates by forming a protective “liquid bandage” when dried.
-
It is imperative you DO NOT cover points with bandages, pick at the points, or try to remove/clean off the Dragon’s Blood.
-
Be mindful that Dragon’s Blood does stain clothes, so if you do get it on your clothes, soak it with cold water.
-
Days after treatment, on top of Dragon’s Blood, feel free to use calendula or coconut oil to aid the healing and scarring process. Avoid chemical laden products.
-
Points will heal and fade in time. Depending on your skin color and the type of skin you have, there may be small visible scars. Many people see their scars as a badge of honor.
